February until May the ocean is mostly calm but still fresh. Day by day it’s getting warmer but the nights are fresh and sometimes you need a pullover and jeans.
June until August are the hot months. Hot during the day and during the night. In the afternoon and evening there will be short showers of rain and of cause high humidity. The perfect time of year to party all night long.
September and October are the month of the hurricanes. The last major hurricane was WILMA in October 2005. The days and nights are equally warm, the ocean is like a huge bath tub.
November until January are the cold months in Playa del Carmen. The days are sunny and warm but you need a pullover in the night. Rainy days are really rare and the humidity is down.
